Receive Donations to Afford Your Joy

Signing up does not automatically qualify you to receive donations. Fraud and background will be checked. If you do not qualify through Wise to receive money, you will not be able to receive from Joy Hub.

Please look over the list of Terms below of what you should and should not spend donations on.

Each individual is allowed only one signup per person 18 years or older, a resident of the USA, and the account is not allowed to be a business account. If we find you have more than one account, you will be suspended from receiving future donations.

If you'd like to donate or become a Joy Giver, please do not use this signup form, please use the donate links or email info@joyhub.org.

Donations will be transferred through Wise

I have a WiseTransfer Profile: To receive donations, please use your personal (not business) Wise profile email address and full name. You do not need to open an account in Wise, but you do need to link your bank account eventually.

I do not have a Wise Profile: If you do not have a Wise profile, you can either submit an email with Joy Hub that you would sign up with later on Wise and current full name. Wise will send you an email to sign up when donations are ready to receive.

Or, use this link to sign up for Wise early: https://wise.prf.hn/click/camref:1101lpFiK

(referral monies will go into the Joy Hub donation pool)

You do not need a 'Wise account' (which is $20 to open and then you can use that money), but you do need to link your bank account. We believe it is free to enroll and link your bank account, but if you want to add on a Wise business account or exchange currencies, those features have separate costs.

Thank you! We will alert you by email when we are ready to qualify and distribute donations.

  • I will use my intuition and highest judgment on what to use the money for, including eco-necessities vs. necessities that use harmful ingredients or practices, to increase my joy now and for the long-term benefit of myself, family, friends, community, animals, planet and all people.

  • I understand that I am allowed to save the funds if it helps me build savings so that I can feel the joy of having security of a rainy day fund.

  • I understand that I can donate the funds back to Joy Hub, or gift the funds to someone, a dependent or some other nonprofit for the purpose of finding or increasing their joy which will fall under the same guidelines of receiving donations myself for the purpose of joy.

FAQs and more details about using Wise and receiving donations:

  • Joy Hub is not responsible for any sensitive data you share with Wise. We will not have access to your bank account information that you transfer donations from Wise to.

  • Please be sure to transfer to your personal bank and not a business account to ensure compliance with receiving donations.

  • All background checks are done through Wise, so failure to pass Wise's standards and get setup will be means of dismissal from our donation program.  No Wise, no donations.

  • If you change email addresses with Wise, you'll need to alert us via email at least 20 days before a donation release with the new email address. This also goes for any name changes.

  • All donations will be sent/transferred in USD. It is your choice to then exchange USD for any other currency but it is at your own cost.

  • Any loss of donation is not our responsibility and you should take every measure NOT to rely on our donations to live on. We will do our best to include you in the next round of donations if you email us with what went wrong.

  • Joy Hub reserves the right to hold, divide and disperse donations in varying amounts and frequencies depending on Joy Hub's operations cost, amount of donations and minimum amounts to transfer. Example, it probably won't make sense to send donations of less than $20 at a time.

  • We will be grouping members by date of signup of earliest to most recent to receive donations.

  • Must be 18 years or older. And for now be a resident of the USA.

  • We are not limiting donations by income level because we all have different paths, but if you make over $100K AND don't have a fear associated with how you can afford joy in the short and long-term for yourself and your dependents, then please do not apply.
